'We hebben een heerlijke week doorgebracht in dit huis. De beide open haarden waren aan bij aankomst, dus het huis heerlijk warm en welkom. Het uitzicht is geweldig en elke avond genieten terwijl genietend van een drankje. Prima uitvalsbasis voor dit gedeelte van Ierland, voor herhaling vatbaar. We komen graag nog eens terug'

'Debbie and her place were amazing!! The pictures don’t do justice to this restful place. I could feel myself relaxing the moment I stepped out of the car with the view, sounds of the waves and smell of the sea. While it’s remote, it is also very near to anything you would need. The house was immaculate, thoughtfully laid out and well stocked. Debbie was delightful and a joy! Next time, our stay will be longer!!'

'Wij hadden een geweldige vakantie. Het huisje is leuk en heeft een goede ligging om de buurt te verkennen. Voor ons stadsmensen ook een leuke ervaring zijn alle dieren in de omgeving en het openen/ sluiten van de hekken om schapen binnen en/of buiten te houden. There is BBQ grill left charcoal and lighter fo the next visitors. Confused about the recycling..Is glass handled separately? Think the Wi-Fi router needs replacing. Worked fine and then nothing. 'We really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It was very spacious and had all conveniences. The view was grand and there are great walks and good restaurants in walking distance. Fully recommend to stay here!'

'Sunnybank House is exactly as described. Highlights for our group of 18 family and relatives include: evening gatherings around the two peat-burining fireplaces with a variety of Irish Whiskeys; a very short walk to the pubs and restaraunts in Clifden, having a chef cook a delicious dinner in our own kitchen for all of us to enjoy, sightseeing all around Connemara; golf at the Connemara Links course just 15 minutes away; and wonderful pub visits out in the country...especially Paddy Coynes pub...

'What an incredible and comfortable place. The views, property and region were stunning. Loved the cottage and its decor and the peaceful easy energy that surrounded us. We stayed eight days and enjoyed many day trips throughout the region. Plus several days simply being in the awe inspiring space watching the tides come in and flow out. 'This peaceful cottage is in a great location if you want to get away from it all. Finding it may have been easier if the instructions were in English rather than German. Easy access to Westport and Newport if you need to shop. The cottage itself was not the warmest place we have ever stayed and could do with a little tlc but generally comfortable . The inspiring views of Croagh Patrick were largely blocked by an overgrown hedge. However we enjoyed our stay very much.'

'This well appointed immaculate home provided all the comforts of home for our group of golfers from the USA. The beds were SO comfortable and the separate bathrooms for each bedroom were a real bonus. The property is tucked away in the beautiful, quiet West Ireland countryside and yet is only a five minute drive from the town center. 'We stayed at the Waterfront cottage from August 14, 2021 to August 21, 2021. Based on the good reviews (excellent!) and the reasonably high price by Irish standards, we thought we had booked the ideal accommodation. But what a disappointment! 'Fantastisk beliggenhed med den smukkeste udsigt. Mulighed for mange gode ture - til fods eller i bil - fra stedet. Lejligheden var kold og uden radiator i spise-opholds-stuen (der var radiatorer i de andre rum). Vi savnede en ansat på stedet til at svare på spm. Fx da der ikke var varmt vand eller da vi ikke kunne få badet på 1. sal til at virke. Eller om de havde en mobil radiator til spiseområdet ;)'

'It is a really good house for a group of up to 10 people. It's three minutes from Westport by car and easily walkable too. The house overall was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The beds were really good quality and comfortable too. The only thing I would suggest is it would be great to have a few additional en suites but it worked well as it was for our group. We all agreed that we would happily rebook The Rocks were we to return to Westport again.'
