'We loved our stay with you. Thank you so much for the upgrade to our room! It was so luxurious to take a bath in the huge bathtub. We really enjoyed the lovely happy hour and breakfasts. All the staff were so kind, welcoming, and helpful. Thank you also for the use of the bikes. We had a wonderful bike ride around the island. We highly recommend this place. So close to many restaurant options, stores, and walking distance to the beach, too. We hope to be back!'

'This is my second time at the Bower. My first time it was amazing and I knew what to expect the second time around. Let me say , it was even better! The staff , amazing ! Everyone was super kind and helpful, I wish I could remember their name ! Room as expected is a bit small but super comfortable bed, toiletry top notch, cool decor ! Very relaxing ! 2 things I wish I had done more is 1) having dinner at the Dive restaurant on the roof top ! Just lovely , great food , nice ocean breeze . 2 )...

'The room was very clean and well maintained the bed was cozy, but the property itself is just laid out in an old manner. Live and being well-maintained it's just so old that it's dysfunctional.. There was no elevator for our room. We had two alleyways connecting to our room where people would make noise earlyin the morning.The parking lot is a block away from the hotel. 'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '

'Unit was located at a busy street with many loud motorcycles as choppers and cars with extreme loud engines, as seems to be the culture in southern California. My sleep was interrupted many times because of this. At my request to relocate I only got an answer 4 days (and difficult nights) later. In the new unit the TV malfunctioned, the remote could only be used for changing the channel and not volume or even de-activate the TV. You had to do this with a button on the TV. TV itself did not work...

'Hotel Z surpassed our expectations! The bed was so comfy, the location is perfect, and the hospitality was incredible- they offered us drinks of our choice upon arrival, and they even gave us bikes to use.'

'Hotel Narcissus was great. Room 6 was fantastic. Two floors, big bed, full kitchen. Check in and check out were smooth. It is in quite a sketchy location though. Be aware! I don't recommend walking to the nicer part of town from the hotel... Get a Uber!'
