'Felt very welcomed and taken care of by the attentive staff. The entire facility was new, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. We had two rooms, and they accommodated our family well. The location is great - close to the beach and many stores and restaurants. The gym was small, but it was never crowded. Highly recommend if you don’t feel the need to have a pool. '

'Great location - in the mix of several shops and restaurants and short walk to the beach. Nicely renovated, comfortable rooms. Staff was great. Worked hard on the upkeep of the common areas, court yard, pool. Parking was the only headache, if you don’t want to pay for the public garage. You can park at the beach for free during the day and in the residential area off of the hotel at night. Overall it was a great stay for my family. Would stay again. '

'Everything was a little dated. Also they sneak in a $40 resort fee each day you stay there that was not clearly advertised when booking. '

'Great location! They have a few bicycles to go to the beach. The neighbourhood has some fine restaurants. You can walk to the ferry that brings you into the Gaslamp district. Unfortunately the price for this 3 minute cross-over is priced a 8 US$ single journey. '
