Het ligt direct tegenover een van de werkende zeehavens van Gloucester, Cripple Cove. Het is een schilderachtige wandeling van 15 minuten (0,07 mijl) of 5 minuten rijden naar Good Harbor Beach Footbridge en de beroemde Harbour Loop van Gloucester met het Fishermen's Memorial. Je hebt de keuze om te genieten van het levendige centrum van Gloucester, Rocky Neck Artist's Colony, Bass Rocks Golf, geweldige restaurants (waaronder een van de beste ontbijt- en lunchplekken vlak naast de deur), winkels, musea, kunstgalerijen. Dit unieke appartement siert een formele Engelse tuin die dient als toegang tot de tweede verdieping die leidt naar een gecombineerde keuken / woonkamer met uitzicht op de haven. Very cozy place

Linda is wonderful. She’s completely accommodating and welcoming. It’s a very clean and cute place to stay, with a beautiful view. I would most definitely stay there again. :)

The apartment was really nice! The decoration and layout of the place was great. It was the perfect size for 4 of us. The location was fantastic! It had a nice view of the marina which we really enjoyed. And our host, Linda, was lovely! Super friendly and helpful and responsive . We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Beautiful Historic Home

If you appreciate the architecture of old homes from the 1890s this is for you. Linda our host was awesome. She was very accommodating and friendly. Had a great time. Love having a great breakfast next door at Zekes.

I would stay there again.

The location and host are absolutely perfect for seeing all of Gloucester. Museums, restaurants and art gallaries are everywhere in Gloucester and Rockport (minutes away). Our stay was not without a surprise or two. For example a - heads up - for those that have trouble navigating quaint narrow/short tread stairways : My wife took it slow and was able to adjust (no biggy).

Cute New England home. This is an area in an apartment above where the property manager lives. There is a little shared space on the staircase, although she provides much privacy. Linda was very accommodating and made sure our stay was comfortable. Great views from the home and easy access to the home. Just 30 mins from Salem.

Good value, next to a tasty restaurant

This tidy home met our needs and was walkable to Good Harbor Beach. While it's not a terribly long walk, it feels longer with kids and carrying beach stuff. Hearing the seagulls and boats through the front windows was nice. The bedrooms are on the third floor and a bit stuffy on hot days. There are window AC units, which are adequate, but need some time to cool off the rooms. The host was very pleasant and gave us plenty of space, but I would note that if you're looking for privacy, this is not your best bet. She lives on the lower floors and there is a shared staircase to get to the bedrooms. If you've got the money to spend, staying in one of the hotels that overlook the ocean is nice, but this rental is half the cost of one of those hotels.

This rental was great for our trip to Gloucester for the St. Peter’s Festival. Great location. Beautiful view! Great response by host for check in and during our stay. There are a lot of steps to manage and it is an older home with older floors and some step ups/unique steps in places so make sure everyone is agile. We are an older couple and managed fine! Great air conditioning too! We were there during a hot weekend!

The building is an old Gloucester home that is charming and comfortable. The attention to detail was amazing. Her garden outback was beautiful. Cozy Comfort

If your looking for a place to stay while on vacation this is great. The space is cozy with main room and bathroom downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. The owner Linda is accommodating and very pleasant to work with. Also easy to communicate with. We enjoyed are stay here.

Rustic and cozy with lots of stairs

My daughter and I enjoyed 2 weeks at the property for quarantine. We felt safe and secure. The manager was friendly and attentive. The neighborhood was quiet at night. The apartment is up 2 flights of stairs, and then the bedrooms are up an additional set of steep, narrow stairs. The beds were very comfortable, but the ceilings are low. The small bathroom was on the “lower” level and could only accommodate one person at a time. The living area was also small but cozy. The refrigerator is a good size, and we used the microwave, toaster oven, and coffee pot. Laundry was available two flights down in the basement.

Nice week in Gloucester

Linda was a wonderful host, very gracious. Lovely back yard and gardens, and cozy bedrooms. The living room area was very tight though, and there was no table inside for the family to eat; there is a good table in the back yard. Also have to plan meals that don’t require the use of a stove. Easy walk to downtown and to Rocky Neck area.

We love Gloucester

We love Gloucester! Our stay was extremely short as we were in town for a wedding but loved being in this charming community and being so close to all of the amenities it had to offer! Linda’s recommendation for breakfast next-door was spot on :-)
