Long Beach House: Groot, comfortabel huis op slechts 285 voeten van het witte zandstrand!

Deze grote, comfortabele familie-georiënteerde vakantie huis ligt op een steenworp van het witte zandstrand van Long Beach - een perfecte locatie zomer! Gebouwd in de vroege jaren 1900, een groot deel van zijn vroege charme nog steeds blijft, maar wordt aangevuld met een bijgewerkte keuken en vele voorzieningen.


Op de begane grond is er een woonkamer met veel zitplaatsen en een 32" tv. De grote keuken heeft een pass-through aan de casual dining ruimte, perfect voor een eenvoudige post-beach maaltijden. Er is ook een koningin slaapkamer en een badkamer met een douche op de begane grond, evenals een "kid's hoekje" met kind-size tafel en stoelen evenals vele spelletjes en boeken.

Boven zijn 4 extra slaapkamers - drie met een full-size bedden en een met 3 aparte bedden. Er zijn ook twee badkamers boven. Een daarvan is een kleine 1/2 badkamer (poeder kamer) en de andere is een complete badkamer met douche.


Er is een grote tuin met een schommel, een gas grill en buitendouche voor het afspoelen het zand na het strand. Een grote afgeschermde-in veranda aan de voorzijde van het huis heeft een eettafel, evenals tal van comfortabele stoelen voor loungen en te ontspannen. Er is parkeergelegenheid voor 3 auto's op de oprit, maar u zult de auto thuis te laten en gewoon lopen naar het strand. Long Beach House is de perfecte familie strandhuis uitje!

Long Beach hidden beauty

Big house large enough to fit my family of four and my brother and sister in law and their two kids with plenty of room. Two full baths and one half definitely came in handy and half bath was like icing on top. All of the fresh linens being there was a huge bonus. The walk to the beach was so short! We didn't even need the beach cart. And at night we had bonfires on the beach, so fun! Surfside Subs being so close came in handy on several occasions, for lunches, dinners and ice cream. In the house, there were plenty of places to sit and relax, including a screened in porch, and there were plenty of places to sit and eat as a family, which we took advantage of. One request for the management company - we had landscapers arrive before 7:00 am one morning and woke everyone up in the house. Could they come later in the day?

It didn’t look like a vacation home from the outside but the inside was set up perfectly. The company was great to deal with and communicated. I reported a little water leaking from a storm but it was cleared the second the storm ended. As in a previous post - there were ants but if you don’t have food out it shouldn’t be a problem. I would highly recommend this place to larger families and hope to rent again!!

My grandson's have asked every year if we can go back the next year they enjoy being able to just walk to the beach and back to the house whenever they want to and my sons and daughter in law enjoy the house because of how its setup and everything is there for us. We will continue to stay at the long beach house for as long as we can and as long as we're able the people at Atlantic have been extremely kind to me.

With there being 10 of us now, we wanted something bigger where the kids had room to play both inside and outside. This house was perfect! The location is just what we wanted as the kids love this beach and walking to the ice cream shop! The set up was great! My husband and I had the downstairs bedroom and were never woken up by everyone's activities in the morning. It was very quiet. We were able to cook most meals outside on the grill or inside as the kids' tastes vary so much. It was really much easier than going out. We are looking forward to many more happy vacations! Thanks again for everything!

Reviewer Comments: Had our annual get together with the kids and grandkids Long Beach House.The house had plenty of room for the ten of us and two dogs (for an additional pet fee) Happy to say that AVH is on their game in terms of sanitization. House was spotless on arrival. Towels were laundered, sanitized wrapped. We routinely give a rental property a “going over” on arrival but saw no need to do so this time around.Found the house to be in better repair than on previous visits with a new roof, large air conditioner on the first floor and all amenities in good working order.This property has a large shady back yard which we make good use of and as described is just a few steps to Long Beach. The beach is not used as heavily as good harbor so social distancing was facilitated.There is a sub and ice cream shop in walking distance and a grocery store a five minute drive away.AVH staff are Always responsive and attentive.Long Beach house has a bit of a rustic vibe but what it lacks in ambience it more than makes up for on convenience. Some of the upstairs mattresses have been replaced others can use replacement.The air conditioned first floor bedroom is spacious bright and comfortable. Cable and WiFi work perfectly..Thanks as always. Looking forward to next year!

The location was perfect. So close to the beach really allowed for all of the guests to come and go as they liked. Plenty of eating spaces and the extra bathroom upstairs was great. Our only drawback was the condition of the beds - extremely uncomfortable beds (lumpy and hard mattresses) as well as old and kind of yucky bedding.

There is a very short walk to beautiful Long Beach and there is an ice cream shop and an excellent pizza place a short walk away. The house is casual and comfortable, and there are all sorts of activities in the area. This year we went to Lexington to research ancestors and to Essex to see the boat building museum. Last year we spent a lot of time in Gloucester, Rockport and Concord. All are close Long Beach is busy on weekends, but you don't have to drive or find parking..

A wonderful holiday at the beach

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Long Beach House is a casual house, just perfect for large families. It was comfortable for seven children-some of them young adults-and for the parents and grandmother. It is a very short walk to the beach, where the children loved the waves and the tide pools with crabs. It was also a short drive for groceries. It was a hot week but there were lots of fans to keep the air in the house moving. The house was clean and the kitchen/dining area was well equipped. The area was historic so we enjoyed walking around the town. The museum was excellent. We also spent a day in Concord researching ancestors ( my ancestor was a graduate of Harvard in 1664 and was the minister there from 1667 to 1711). We also visited the museum there, the Old Burial Ground and the Minuteman Park. On another day we went to Rockport and also enjoyed that area which is very close to Long Beach. It wa a relaxed vacation that everyone enjoyed and we would recommend this property rental for the easy access to the beach and the proximity to the town.. The management company was attentive and supplied all the information about trash pickup and was available by phone, although we didn't need them for anything else.

We had our children and grandchildren who were able to enjoy the beautiful beach everyday since the house is so close to it. We have been coming to Cape Ann for 15 years . This house has always been very clean and well equipped and gives us all the feeling of being at home. We look forward to returning next year.

The house is old and the carpets, furniture etc are shabby, but in a nice way. The home is always freshly cleaned when we arrive. Long Beach House is really steps from the beach, while offering complete privacy, lots of space indoors and out, and parking for several cars. Highly recommended.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was fantastic. Two drawbacks; the outdoor grill is very old and dirty and we did not use it. Also, the street is narrow and the tall buildings across the street make for a lot of noise on Saturday night. (Neighbors across the way are LOUD on Saturday and Sunday). Still, had a great week. Ice cream and pizza stores in walking distance. Beach is great for kids. AVH is very professional and took good care of us.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location is excellent, just steps to the beach. The house had some issues-internet access very poor, red ants all over the yard, some electrical and plumbing issues. It took several days to resolve a couple of the issues, but the internet, the bathroom light and the red ants were not able to be addressed. I would rent this house again if it were in good working order, but only if I could check it out first. We loved the nearby restaurants, trip to Rockport and Gloucester, and the beach!

Nothing fancy, the house is well-stocked with beach towels, has an amazing sun porch where sea breezes provide a cool place to eat, play games or chat the evening away free from mosquitoes. Our kids also enjoyed the play structure and large lawn area in the back yard, although most days were spent on lovely Long Beach. The house is older and not well insulated, but fans in every room help moderate the temperatures upstairs.
