'The view is absolutely breathtaking—second to none! The house is warm, well-heated, and stocked with an impressive stash of board games and DVDs to enjoy by the cosy fireplace (wood supplied—no scavenging required!). The kitchen had everything we needed, and with three bathrooms, no one had to do the bathroom dance. Our adult kids and the dogs had a ball. With a beautiful station nearby, Sydney’s just a train ride away, and Blackheath and Katoomba have more than enough to tempt anyone in need of...

'Maple View completely lived up to all the good reviews. It was cozy, impeccably clean, stylish and comfortable. It was the perfect place to relax in front of a fire on a cold Blue Mountains day. Extra points for heated bathroom floors, electric blankets and good quality kitchenware. Matt was also the perfect host - helpful and friendly. We would absolutely stay there again. '

'My family and friends stayed here for a weekend in Blackheath while attending the UTA event in Katoomba. It was perfect and Kim was a lovely and accomodating host! We were very comfortable preparing by the fire and the beds were very cozy for tired bodies. The views are also amazing, wish we had more time to enjoy them. Next time!'

'We absolutely loved our stay. The property is unique with its wood panelling and comfy nooks throughout, but its real selling points were the breathtaking views from every window. We appreciated the little touches too like the chocolate biscuits in the fridge and bottle od wine ledt for us. Would highly recommend. '

'We had weekend stay at this excellent property. It is very well maintained and has lots of space. It is only a short distance to Blackheath town centre. Our highlight with the property was the family room area which had great views over bushland. Definitely recommend.'

'It was a lovely place to stay. Kitchen well stocked. My daughters loced the piano upstais. Surprised to find violin scores too but we didnt brong the violins :) we played darts and fire pit at night was definitely a highlight.'

'We had a wonderful stay at Maggie's Nest. The house was very clean and well-provided, and it was great to have a bag of firewood waiting for us given that we arrived later in the evening! The property was perfect for us (family of three) with enough space for us all. It was only a short drive to the main street in Blackheath. We'll definitely be back!'

'The property is magical. It is perfect for a group setting or small family. You can have an indoor fire which is great on cold misty mornings with a cup of tea and then a spot of tennis on the courts at midday. It is very central to a lot of walks in the mountains, a walking distance from the local town centre (15-20 min walk) and a 15 minute drive to Katoomba town centre. I would love to come back here.'
