Good size garden, just needs garden seating to admire view over hills. Recommend visit to tea room bistro next door for relaxing drink & food. Real friendly welcome & beautiful gift pack with win & cheeses. Recommend to any family who wish to explore the beautiful highlands.'

'Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Fantastic cottage, ideally situated for exploring the area and beyond. Very clean and well equipt, very comfortable bed. Within about one mile of Dunrobin Castle and just across the road to the beach. We also drove to visit The Castle of Mey and John O’Groats. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. '

We got instructions a few days in advance that were very clear so finding and accessing the cottage was easy. There is a fabulous pub just down the street for a great meal. Just make reservations. 'We are 2 seniors in our 70s. We knew that there would be stairs, but the listing did not reflect the magnitude of the stairs involved. Perhaps that was our fault for not asking enough questions, but the listing could be more forthright.On arrival, you have two choices. The rear parking area is fine, but the path down to the house is loose stones, so prepare to carry your luggage down. You can access the house from the street, but it is also steep, and the walkway is rough stones with limited...

'Ground floor bedroom cannot be aired, beautiful en suite bathroom, also cannot be aired, a shame because the views are stunning and the kitchen/dinner wonderful. We found the access road difficult.'
