'The place is in dire need of a makeover. In the bathroom... No exhaust fan... Hinges and towel racks are rusted... Wall paper is peeling off the walls... Tub/shower faucet is connected wrong. Hot is cold and Cold is hot... Door has noticeable cracks. The front half of the room had no lights. Until this place get renovated, I will not stay there again.'

'Dit hotel is verouderd en het stinkt overal naar sigarettenrook. Er was verl geluid van de snelweg. En het onbijt was armzalig...wit brood met alleen jam of pindakaas. Wat fruit en ern muffin. Zeker geen aanrader'

'The woman at the front desk was very polite and helpful. The room wasn't the cleanest, there was either dust and/or mold on the valance and curtains. The floor was dirty, had to walk around with shoes or flip flops on because my feet were filthy from walking for 5 minutes. Looked like smeared blood on the wall and saw possibly a roach in the room.'

'Our room was dark and the light on the wall was not working. There was a standing lamp but no outlet to plug it into, so we made do with two desk lamps. The bathroom was a little shabby but the bed was comfortable and clean and the woman at the desk was really nice and friendly. The AC also worked well.'

'Our room was very clean and comfortable. The grounds were very well kept with beautiful flowers and lights. Breakfast was good…very clean. 8/10 (for breakfast) .The girl at the front desk was my favorite part… she always greeted us with a smile and wave. Ask if there was anything we need each time! I would definitely recommend for a good price, clean, safe, friendly spot close to everything on CT shore line and activities.'

'The building and grounds need maintenance. There's rotting window sills and rain damage on the ceiling, spots of bleach on the carpets and the doorknob of a closet came off in my hand. The TV in the room is incredibly small, the size of a computer screen. You don't come to a hotel to watch TV but like showers, you expect a nice experience. The breakfasts were ok, but not great.'

'The stay was above superior with amenities such as free pontoon rides, happy hour with wine and cheese, as well as all day fruit bowl and evening cookies. All part of the stay. Breakfast is served restaurant style either in their seating area or outside in many scenic areas to choose from. This place is local to the main town with many places to walk, including the beach. The hotel also offers free bikes to ride locally to enjoy this beautiful bayside town. Worth every dollar.'
