'We didn't stay at the place reserved and got sent to a back up place right before check in. It was a strange back alley entrance with standing water and rickety steps up to the unit but confusion over which unit was ours. Once we figured it out, it was challenging to get the door to unlock and lock with the mechanism not quite lining up without pushing and pulling the door to get it just right. The toilet off one bedroom required taking the tank cover off to make it flush and to make it stop...

'Everything was exactly as described. St. Charles is an awesome place!'

'This property is in a great location! It was clean and beds were super comfy. 3 full baths were great for 4 women. We were really disappointed to find out the balcony is not usable. That is one of the main reasons we booked this place. The owner needs to update the pictures on VRBO to indicate the balcony is under maintenance.'

'Property was great and very clean. Check in process was extremely easy and very informative email was sent before check-in. The only thing that was lacking, which may be my own fault is the downstairs bedroom, the one with one bed is not a bedroom as the walls do not go to the ceiling. It offers privacy to get dressed but no privacy for conversations or intimate relations in the bedroom. The location was key so I would rent again but maybe not bring all my kids. :)'

'Everything was new and loved the decor. Lots of extras that was really nice. Would stay again.'

'Meet our desires and needs'

'Couldn’t have been more pleased. Perfect for 2 traveling with a pet. Convenient and walk to everywhere. Just what we needed to explore St Charles!'

'This was a prime spot for downtown activities! Near everything and not far from STL. Would absolutely stay here again!'

'Overall the stay was good, and the property has its charms. You will get your steps in for the day going up and down the stairway(s). Good value and lots of space.Had an issue with the dishwasher not working. Water had backed up from previous user, and nobody checked it. This resulted in a moldy and stinky concoction growing in the bottom of the dishwasher. Contacted host that morning by text and VRBO platform. No response from host until several days later after we checked out. I had to...

'The property was clean and had everything we needed. The location is excellent. We loved walking out the front of the property right on to Main Street. Having a garage to park the car was perfect. There was no searching for a place to park. We would definitely stay again!'

'This rental was perfect for our needs. My wife and I were stopping through St. Louis on our way to another destination, and were traveling with our two small dogs. We love historic Saint Charles, and decided to book this place right on Main Street. It was just the right size for a short stay, was clean and easy to access, and was in a great spot in proximity to the shops and restaurants in the historic part of town. No complaints!'
