'I need a cheap place to stay for the Carmel Marathon and this served that purpose. But it is pretty basic. Outdated and there was a hole in the bathroom door and peeling cabinets. After some loudness around 10:30-11pm I had a good night's sleep. There was also a $2 utility charge and a $50 deposit which I don't recall being listed on Expedia. Budget motel that served its purpose.'

'When i pulled up there were homeless people around the outside of the building. There's only 2 ways to get to the rooms and both stair cases are by the exit doors. No elevators. The room smelled musty and gross. The bathroom wasn't very clean and the towels need to be replaced. The bed was very comfortable and that was the best part of the entire room. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I felt very unsafe and left to go to another hotel for the duration of my stay.'

'beautiful and well kept hotel, just like the pictures. They had coffee or water in the lobby in the evenings and the morning. It was very pleasant. We did not dine at the restaurants in the hotel, but thoroughly enjoyed the environment.'

'I didn’t like the fact that I was up all hours of the night due to the guests next door opening and shutting the door until 2:30am. I had to wake up at 5:30am that morning to go somewhere with my husband. Not a happy camper.'

'Before I arrived, I called to confirm my check in time. I was told that the room we paid for would not be available because it's first come first served check in system. I had to talk to the front desk person and they were able to "find" a lesser room, however when we arrived it was clear it was not cleaned properly because the floor was sticky and smelled of syrup. We didnt have a complete set of bedsheets for the fold out couch, and it was surrounded in crumbs and dirt. The tv remote either...
