There is an unbelievable amount of thick heavy dust everywhere in the cabin and the floors also need a proper clean'

'The staff at Oaks Cairns were absolutely lovely, very friendly and accommodating. Beautiful room and great central location, walking distance to most activity meetups, great restaurants and shopping. I had an unfortunate experience at the Double Tree by Hilton and ended up needing a room last minute, even though Oaks Hotel Cairns had nothing to do with the poor experience at Double Tree Hilton, they gave me a free drink voucher to help improve my night. 'It was a really nice hotel! Located at the Marina you’re at all the best places within a 10 minute walk. Close to some great restaurants and shops & right at the reef docks. Room wasn’t that well cleaned upon arrival but it was definitely made up for the next day! The man who helped with the luggage is also a living legend!'
