'Mike and Mari are exceptional hosts. They checked in us and even went above and beyond to send me and mom a gift as we were celebrating some special bdays! The beach is fabulous, soft sand and clear water. The cottage itself was clean and had everything we needed. Comfortable furniture, lots of games and the decor was relaxing. Perfect vacation mode!Our pups had a great time swimming and relaxing with us. Morning sunrise is stunning if you get up nice and early.I look forward to visiting again!'

'Wonderful week at a remote waterfront Lake Huron house. Bring everything you will need, as you are 30 minutes north of Oscoda and about 30 minutes south of Alpena. There is a dollar general nearby and a wonderful restaurant 10 min north but true shopping is limited. The house is spacious and located just off a rocky shore beach point with great access for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding, etc. Recommend bringing drinking water as well.
