'Great experience! Property was close to beautiful private beach and boat launch for fishing. Lon answered us right a way and even reached out to install a window air unit when the temps jumped up. Only suggestion would be a few more cooking tools: mixing bowls, tongs, a pitcher and a few more dishes (we are a family of 5 ). Would stay here again!'

'The view and location were great, and overall we enjoyed our stay! There are just a couple of things that I think could really improve the experience for future guests. The outside of the property could use a little TLC and some added curb appeal.I would also highly recommend numbering the fire pits to correspond with each cabin. For cabins that don’t have their own fire pit, having a designated “community fire pit” would be a great option. It would also be helpful to have a binder or information...

'Outdoor area was kept up nice! Liked the fact that there was wood provided for a fire! Had to purchase fire starter. Grill was charcoal fueled. Cabin has a cool vibe! Very clean! Furniture is comfortable. The heat didn’t flow well into bedrooms and bath. Light switches were confusing, signage for switches would be helpful. Amenity list could be updated (Keurig and coffee maker both available). It would be nice if some games were provided as well as scissors and lighter for fire/charcoal....

'Our stay was outstanding, one of the best Vrbo rentals ever! The place was immaculately clean, accurately described in the listing, and communication was perfect (not too much, not too little). We had 6 adults and 4 children with plenty of space. This place had the best beds and linens, we all talked about how well we slept. It rained for us a few days, but there were plenty of places to play games or do puzzles. Very best part was the private beach on lake huron, tried standup paddle boarding...

'We stayed here for two nights for a tubing trip and our friends rented another cabin there as well. We stayed at cabin #3 Surfside and if I were to book again I'd definitely book cabin #6 because it was more upgraded and had more privacy when outside by the beach and firepit area. They had 6 cabins and "the main house" which is the larger house you can rent. Cabin 3 and 6 have the main view to the water as well as the main house. The other cabins didn't have views of the water or a deck to the...

'Loved the retro cabin with fabulous Lake Huron views! Quiet, pet friendly and close to town. Would definitely stay again!!'

'The view was breathtaking. There were not enough towels (towels were terrible), no wine opener, plastic disposibale wine glasses. The property was a bit run down. The beach and deck area could have been cleaned up and organized. Also a better system for sand removal when entering the property. All and all I feel the price was high for the amenities.'
