Deze woning is gelegen hoog op een heuvel en beschikt over 3 ruime slaapkamers en 3 volle baden. Het heeft nieuwe rustieke log ingericht om u het gevoel van waar je bent .... in de prachtige bergen van Maine. De bovenste verdieping heeft twee slaapkamers, één met een queensize bed en de andere met twee aparte bedden. De eerste verdieping heeft een koningin slaapkamer met een complete badkamer aan de overkant. U zult genieten van het koken in de goed gevulde keuken met roestvrijstalen apparaten. Het eetgedeelte heeft een prachtige eiken tafel en stoelen met veel zitplaatsen. Ga 's avonds bij het vuur zitten op de leren bank en fauteuil en geniet van een film op de flatscreen HD-tv met satellietkabel. Beneden is een nieuw afgewerkt recreatieruimte met volledige pooltafel. Er zijn 2 comfortabele futons op ware grootte met daar ook een stapelbed en een ligbad. Een grote flatscreen-tv die geweldig is om aan te sluiten op je x-box of een game te kijken. Er is een wasruimte dat zowel de wasmachine en droger. ..... Echt alles wat je nodig hebt om te vertrekken, je wilt nooit meer naar huis. Dit is een log eenzijdige huis met een rustieke wraparound veranda. We hebben een propaan grill beschikbaar voor uw gemak. De woning is uitgerust met WIFI. De prachtige stad Bethel dorp is 8 mijl van de weg met veel kleine restaurants, winkels en cafés..There je kunt alles van pub tot heerlijke Italiaanse eten te vinden. Het gebied heeft een kleine 'geboortestad gevoel "en is een leuke bestemming elke dag van de week. Het prachtige Sunday River-skigebied (onze favoriet) en het gezinsvriendelijke skigebied Mt Abrams liggen in de straat, dichtbij genoeg om thuis te komen voor de lunch. Sunday River skigebied ligt op 14 mijl van deur tot deur en onze persoonlijke favoriet. Zip-lijnen en zomeractiviteiten Er zijn lokale verhuurbedrijven voor kajak verhuur. Ik zal u laten weten waar om wat natuurlijk water gaten te vinden en valt en er zijn wandelpaden in overvloed. Als Jagen en vissen is uw ding, kijk dan niet verder. De grote vijver in de straat heeft een beuk en een geweldig vissen. Dit is het hele jaar door accommodatie met alle gemakken van thuis. Waaronder Internet!

My wife and I were lucky enough to book Donna’s home last minute (the day before we arrived) and couldn’t have been happier with our decision. The house was exactly as described, and Donna was so kind, thoughtful & responsive from start to finish. It was also a quick drive to Bethel and the surrounding mountains which made things much easier with a toddler. We will definitely be back in the future!

Our Columbus Day weekend stay at the cabin was amazing. The house is close to Bethel and all that it offers. The location is set in a very quiet neighborhood with plenty of privacy. Winter vacation week

This property is a wonderful, cozy, well-maintained home in Greenwood on a small private road surrounded by woods. Just what we were looking for - 3 good size bedrooms and 3 full baths. The downstairs had a pool table for family fun and more room for people to sleep if needed. The house was clean and the kitchen was easy to cook in. We felt very comfortable in our week long stay and the trip to Bethel only took 10 minutes.

Christmas Getaway

The property was actually nicer than the pictures depict! Had room for everyone to spread-out, and everything was well equipped. Our (older) kids spent most of the time on the pool table listening to tunes downstairs, and we enjoyed doing puzzles and cooking with the fireplace on upstairs. Can recommend Maggie's Nature Park for a nice 1.5 hour RT hike, and the Maine Mineral & Gem Museum in Bethel was awesome if you're a science nerd. Definitive Brewing Company was also a nice treat. Donna was exceptional in her communication and support - even on Christmas Eve!!

Skiing Bliss

This property was lovely. It was clean and well insulated. The pictures were exact, the kitchen was stocked, linens and towels included. The beds were very comfortable. The pool table was an added bonus of family fun! The décor was rustic, cozy and warm. After a great day on Sunday River Mountain (an easy 15 minute drive) it was very relaxing to sit in front of the fire place. We definity hope to return one day.

Beautiful cabin!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin. This was our first time in Maine and we explored the area including Bethel and Sunday River Ski area. Donna described the house perfectly. It has has a lot of rustic charm and fun decor. The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, the fire pit and game room were a lot of fun and Donna was extremely responsive. We highly recommend the spot for anyone who wants to be in the Greenwood area.

Donna's place is fantastic! A well stocked kitchen, super comfortable furniture, and Dog Friendly! We rescued a puppy that was lost in the woods for 10 days while staying there, and watching that pup reunite with her family was something we will never forget. Definitely recommend!

Quiet and cozy, welcoming home.

The home is very comfortable, warm, and welcoming. The beds were amazing, soft, and fluffy. The kitchen had everything we needed. (We forgot to buy Kcups so had to pick up coffee in town). The area is quiet and I walked my dog up and down the dirt road, admiring the beautiful fall leaves. Had amazing sandwiches at The Local Hub down the road. Would like to return in the summer to adventure out to the nearby lakes. A real treat.

Quiet, peaceful, close to lake

We stayed at this property for a nearby family wedding and it was ideal. There are plenty of spaces that foster fun family interactions (large dining table, billiard room, deck AND fire pit area). The lake was a few minutes drive, as were a couple of good hiking spots. Another fabulous feature was the host: Donna was excellent to work with, communicative, accommodating and full of information. All of us (20 somethings to middle-agers) agreed that we would want to stay there again when life brings us back to the area. Thank to Donna for helping make our reunion/family wedding wonderful.

Beautiful, warm, and oh so welcoming!!

The property is immaculate. Donna was so attentive in making our stay as perfect as we could have imagined. Our family has been through a tough year with the passing of two close relatives. We were looking to get away and spend some time with the kids, and this property exceeded our expectations! Donna has it decorated in such a warm, and welcoming way. The fire pit out on the beautifully groomed patio, made us feel like we were at a 5 star resort...and we have stayed at many! We made smores with the kids, after a barbecue, and spending time playing horseshoes in the beautiful backyard, and then retired in to enjoy some pool, while our youngest played his video games, in the entertainment room and ate popcorn. There is a shower on every level which made it nice for a family of 6. There is a beautiful fireplace, which I am certain creates just the perfect ambiance as the cold autumn air sets in over Maine. The upper deck has a wonderful seating area and a large table to have family meals, or just sit and take in the sunrise or sunset. Donna has lighting surrounding the patio which makes for such a spectacular view. The linens on the the cozy beds were so warm and comfortable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to experience the wonders of Maine, the comforts of home, with the luxuries and feel of a 5 star resort! Thank you Donna! We will be back!

Lovely Winter Getaway

A beautiful rustic cabin in the woods, was the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation. Donna’s place is very well appointed, clean and comfortable. It’s accessible to everything we needed (Breweries, groceries, hiking, Sunday River) and we even ventured out to Portland for a day trip. 4 wheel drive is helpful in the winter, especially for some of the hiking areas. Perfect Thanksgiving getaway!

We couldn't have found a more perfect place to spend Thanksgiving 2020! Needing to see a different "four walls" and to reconnect with our college-aged children, we rented Donna and Paul's home. We were thrilled with it and decided it's our favorite place we've rented. The house was thoughtfully and tastefully decorated without personal mementos to remind you that you're in someone else's home. There was lots of space to spread out for alone time, but also great gathering space for fireside relaxing and pool playing. Bedrooms were comfy and bathrooms were on all three floors. Because of the pandemic, we ate all our meals at the house and had our Thanksgiving dinner, too. The kitchen had everything we needed and was open to the rest of the living space. The house is quiet and is located on a dead end road; easy to take walks. As other reviewers have remarked, Donna was a pleasure to communicate with and the house was very clean. We highly recommend this great getaway log cabin!
