'First Shayna was quick to respond and so we choose to stay a night on our way from the Caribbean side to the Pacific side. We arrived at Vista de Paz late afternoon and were greeted by a very nice gentleman, Guillermo. He showed us around the home and then the grounds. Before leaving for the evening made sure we had a fire going and we had enough firewood. Due to all the traveling I had requested a cook for the evening. 'Comfortable room with private bath, and we enjoyed sitting in the porch area and visiting with Katty & family. Close enough to everything to walk but far enough back to be peaceful. We went on the night hike and canoe tours with P&K Tours, and it was convenient to start at thr same place instead of meetinf up in the village or at the dock. This was the highlight of our trip through Central America.'

'We so much enjoyed our stay at Casa Jaguar and Tortuguero. Cristina was most helpful and accommodating. Casa Jaguar is nice and clean and surprisingly quiet at night, yet right next to yhe village. We will absolutely stay here again. '
