Spacious room.
The hotel is not new. But it is maintained relatively well. We have booked the Junior Suites, which is really really very big and spacious. And I love the layout of the room. Unfortunately, all these Junior suites have afternoon sun. So when we checked in at 3 PM, the room was so so so hot. And it was registered at 28°. When they sent technician to rectify the aircon, he could not do anything because it was centrally controlled. This is a very unlikable system. Hope you can improve on this in your next renovation. All in all, in this trip our group has booked 20 nights in your hotel.

Air condition very hot
Everything was OK we were in the room number 1612. We arrived at 2:33 PM in the afternoon and because of the afternoon sun. The room was very hot at 26°C. So we waited at night when we went back after dinner the temperature dropped to 24. It is very hot for us. We kept calling the engineer they came, but he couldn’t do anything. On the third night we actually had to ask for a fan to put in our room to regulate the air. I will be coming back again on 29 December, and I hope you are not going to give me a room that is facing the west and also a room with a better air condition .

Wonderful stay and good location
Very nice stay and got a free upgrade to executive room. Good location where is near to Guangzhou East Railway station and Popark shopping mall with AEON department store in it.

Hotel rooms are really nice and spacious. We have stay at executive floor with lounge access. Loungeis nice but selection of food was the same every day and we have been there- 10 days. Ano western food.

The breakfast definitely was not worth it. It does not provide international breakfast and more on Chinese food where option is limited. The breakfast look more like a lunch.i would recommend to eat outside as the price is not worth it to include breakfast while staying in the hotel. Onr things is good in this hotel is if you do a late check in at midnight they let you check out at 3 pm.

overall an excellent hotel with the 2 exceptions: 1. waiting staff service at the bar lounge was extremely slow. I waited for at least 10 mins before someone dropped by to take the drink orders and could hardly find any one after getting the drinks. 2. the wifi was slow with the exception of using wechat. Had no access to other communications platforms like Whatsapp, Google, Youtube, Gmail etc. I was told there was government regulations that it was not allowed to access such services, which I could get that from White Swan Hotel, which is also in Guangzhou

The hotel is ideally situated in the city. Easy to access the old town, the shopping areas like Beijing street, or the huge convention center. You can walk to Po Park that has some good shopping and dining options. The hotel is well maintained and has large rooms. Staff are very friendly and helpful but many of them struggle with speaking English. Dining at the hotel has good options but vegetarian options are limited. That applies to pretty much throughout the city.
