To start the Costa Bahia Hotel is not a 9.5 rating. First , we were in the 3326 room, What a nightmare. Horrible is not even close to describe our experience in the hotel. The smell of the mold in the room was atrocious. The rug had spots and not well kept even the extra blanket had holes in it. The phone was not working. The bathroom had a leak under the sink and the shower was in horrible condition. The towels felt like sandpaper. I complained to the front desk and were changed to room 3317. It was a little better but the smell was horrible. Unfair that the guest have to park in the back, because the persons that came for the Casino parked in the guest parking. The hotel is old and is not well kept. The restaurant was not up to standard no wonder the guest did not eat there. The were no guest at the restaurant for dinner or lunch. The free breakfast was not continental at all. I would highly not recommend the hotel. Expedia should evaluate this hotel and not recommend this hotel as a 9.5 hotel. My wife is very sick because the smell on the room and the mold, also we have to leave a day early because it was unbearable, costing us an additional 350 dollars to jet blue, plus the day we lost at the hotel. We believe that some form of compensation ought to be in order due to the horrible ordeal we had to endure.
