Ideale ligging, zeer ruime kamer
Mooie grote kamer. Elke ochtend vers brood bij je kamer, heerlijk. Ideale ligging. Stroom viel wel vaak uit, daarna bleef alarm soms urenlang piepen, dat was wel irritant. Maar ik zou zo weer terug willen!

Fantastic value for money :-)
Island Guesthouse is perfect for your accomodation right in the center of Il Gzira, and very near the harbour-boulevard (The Strand) The service is excellent and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was large, had air-condition, micro-oven, electric kettle and an unlimited supply of coffee and tea. Housekeeping every day. All in all a very pleasant stay and very, very good value for money. I would definitely recommend Island Guesthouse any day.

ゲストハウスの周辺は、レストランやカフェ、スーパーもあり、ボーディングパスの印刷もすぐ近くの文具店のような所でできます。バス停もすぐ近くで、遠い所でも一回乗り換えで行くことが出来ます。バスチケットは一回2€ですが、２時間以内ならば乗り換えても使用出来ます。周辺の環境は良いですが、マルタ特有の停電が何回かありました。お部屋は古いですが、3泊しましたが何の問題もありません。ただ、タオルやシーツなどの交換はリクエストしなければならないようでしたが、私の場合3泊でしたので必要ありませんでした。チェックインが遅めの人には、開錠コードをメールで送ってくれます。チェックアウトもキーボックスにキーを戻すだけでとても楽でした。

Great location for dining out and bus routes and easy access to Valetta. We arrived late and received excellent email instructions about access in the room after the foyer was locked. However some details could have been better, like the opening windows in the room didn't fit the frames well and rattled in the wind at night (temporary fix was easy but should not have been necessary). Overall good value though. Beware that most of this part of Malta is currently a buiding site.

I stayed here for over a week and would highly recommend. Great location and value for money, and the staff are lovely and accommodating. Note if staying in the accessible room on the ground floor there is a curtain rather than a door for the bathroom.

Modernes Guesthouse in sehr guter Lage
Self-Check In hat super funktioniert und der Besitzer war bei Fragen auch immer sofort per WhatsApp erreichbar. Zum Frühstück gab's leckere frische Schokocroissants und Brötchen.

The room number six is very clean, wide, new. There is a kitchenette in the room, with fridge, microwave, kettle, coffee, tea, jam, mineral water and fresh bread/croissants daily. The area was great right near the waterfront. We needed to get in touch at dawn and we were promptly answered. 100% recommended.

All’arrivo abbiamo trovato la camera non ancora rifatta, la signora delle pulizie credeva k arrivassimo alle 15 ma era stato comunicato esplicitamente l’arrivo alle 13:15, siamo arrivati alle 13:20.. il primo giorno a colazione mancavano latte e cereali pure espressamente previsti. L’ascensore non funzionava è stata aggiustata dopo 3 giorni dalla arrivo. Tali aspetti negativi sono stati superati nei giorni seguenti per cui nel complesso è stato un soggiorno positivo e consiglio la struttura per posizione, prezzo e l’arredamento della camera nuovo e funzionale anche se aggiungerei uno specchio lungo

Ottima posizione, a due passi dal lungomare e dalla fermata dell’autobus. Colazione (cornetto, pane e mele) servita appena fuori dalla camera alle 8 di mattina. Buon prezzo. Purtroppo ci è stata data la camera al piano terra attrezzata per persone con disabilità, rumorosa perché con la finestra affacciata alla strada e senza balcone.

We encountered some issues related to our arrival due to the Hotels.com (possible) irresponsibility, not the guesthouse's. Hotels.com you have to contact the owner immediately after confirming the booking and not to create situations when guests arrive at the place and there is a surprise for them and owner about the present booking. Regarding the guesthouse, perhaps we got unlucky (or not), but the room we got was not in a proper condition to host guests - many spottable cleanliness issues, very heavy and humid air in the room and no door at the bathroom, but a curtain instead. The manager was helpful and cooperative enough so that we can terminate our stay in these unbearable conditions and look for another accommodation.

tres grande chambre tres bien equippee, frigo, micro onde et plaque chauffante ainsi que la vaisselle necessaire. a 200 metres des arrets de bus, epicerie a proximite. etablissement tres bien tenu, petit dej tres bien egalement mis a disposition dans la chambre et viennoiserie et pain tous les matins deposes sur votre palier, une tres bonne experience

The area was great right near the waterfront and really great value for money - we had a spacious room and balcony. Thomas the manager made sure we were well taken care of and went above and beyond to help us! Fresh bread was a nice touch - this place made our stay so thank you so much (: Would definitely recommend!

Wir waren 10 Tage da und am vierten Tag wurden nur nach Aufforderung die Handtücher gewechselt dann gar nicht mehr - die Bettwäsche kein einziges Mal. Die Böden waren dreckig und somit auch die Badematte (wurde auch nur einmal gewechselt), die Dusche wurde einige Tage nicht gereinigt. Diskussionen mit dem Personal brachten nichts und auch Thomas fühlte sich sich nicht bemüßigt Abhilfe zu schaffen. Schade! Wer also länger als ein langes Wochenende bleiben möchte, sollte eigene Handtücher mitbringen. Die Lage ist gut und die Bushaltestelle ist nur ca 100m entfernt (auch Flughafenlinie).

Dear Guest, First of all we would like to thank you for your stay with us. I believe that when you spoke with staff at the guesthouse you were told that if you wanted your towels changed you were to leave them on the floor inside the shower. The beds are changed on a once during a weekly stay and so on a 10 night stay your sheets would of been changed twice. If you had any issues with the cleanliness of your room this is something that should of been brought to the attention of the management during your stay so this could be fixed for you straight away. I believe that after you had mentioned towels not being changed staff at the guesthouse did take clean towels to your room personally rather than the house keeper and the hotel management still received messages saying that the towels had not been changed. We would like to take this opportunity to point out to future guests reading any reviews that if towels are left in the shower in the correct manner they will be changed. All requests for clean towels and bedding are met by our staff. Kind Regards

Rent och fint och med kylskåp på rummet. Säng och kuddar var dock väldigt obekväma. Frukosten kompletterade vi själva med yoghurt och annat pålägg än bara marmeladen som fanns. Läget är mycket bra, nära till busshållsplats för lokalbuss och till biljettförsäljningen till alla utflyktsbåtar.

10 modern eingerichtete Zimmer unweit der Promenade, von der Dachterrasse hat man Blick über den Hafen nach Valletta. Service wie beschrieben, Frühstücksbrötchen frisch und reichhaltig. Leider etwas hellhörig, aber das ist normal in südlichen Ländern.

Did not even stay at this property, they decided to tell me that my room had storm damage. No significant storms in Malta for 12 years it appears. They then relocated me to a property that was sub-standard into a room category that failed to match what I booked. Could not be more disappointed with this property.
