'The hotel is in a central location making it convenient to walk in either direction. The staff were very friendly. The room was clean, the beds comfortable. The food at both dinner and breakfast was really good. We woke up to a snowy morning and it was awesome to go out on my balcony for pictures. '

'Prima hotel om bijv te combineren met een bezoek aan Oeschinensee. Kamer was ruim en schoon. Helaas geen airco (was bekend, maar in de zomer is dit toch wel fijn om te hebben) en de minibar ontbrak terwijl die er wel zou moeten zijn. Wifi is stabiel. Ontbijt ook prima. Parkeren kan bij het hotel.'

'Het hotel ligt zeer dicht bij het pittoreske treinstation van Grindelwald, direct aan het begin van de "winkelstraat", op zich een ideale uitvalsbasis. Het hotel op zich is relatief "gedateerd" maar dit valt weg tegen de zeer behulpzame en vriendelijke medewerkers. Helaas is internet alleen per 24u te betalen en wel tegen een tarief waar je een paar keer "U" tegen zegt, nl. CHF30,= per dag (omgerekend zo'n EUR22,50). Nu kreeg ik de eerste dag gratis, maar de dagen erna mooi geen internet...
