'Another family getaway up the mountain for Memorial weekend 2025. The cabin was well appointed and located just the right distance away from the activities our family enjoys most. Hot tub has an amazing view of sunset. Owner very responsive. No complaints or concerns; thanks for a great visit! '

'The cabin was great. The one piece of advice I will offer is DO NOT FOLLOW YOUR GPS TO THE ADDRESS ON THE LISTING!!! Follow the written directions the host provides. Our GPS took us a way that was impassable and locked with a gate. The roads around the property are gravel/dirt with plenty of tire-popping potholes. Be very careful. The cabin was great except for the beds. We ended up leaving one night early because we couldn't get a full night's sleep on either the bed upstairs nor the pull-out...

'The house and property are excellent. Getting up the main road and the driveway with a boat is tricky - narrow and lots of turns but once at the property it is great. The decor is up to date and relevant with the seasonal themes for the bedrooms. Great open concept for the living area. Just a couple very small areas to clean a little better but I am sure the owner will take care of them as he is on site and very connected to make this a top notch experience for guests. 'We had an awesome time!!! Place was clean and it was big enough for my whole family. Other than a bathroom issue which was resolved everything was great. Lots of dishes and pots and pans and the location of house was perfect!!! I couldn't ask for any better. Thank you again. We will come back for sure!!!'

'We had a wonderful stay! The house was cozy, clean and exactly what we were looking for. We went to Snowshoe and the drive there was easy from the house. As the listing mentions, the driveway is very steep but we had no issues with AWD even though there was still snow on the ground. Highly recommend for families or anyone looking for a getaway near Snowshoe!'

'Overall, the property was very beautiful and we had a wonderful stay with our family. The one issue we had or wished was included in the description of the property was a clean driveway. When we got there, there was at least a foot of snow on the driveway to the front door and multiple people slipped and fell and one had injured himself. Outside of the home was a wonderful place to stay and was a lot if fun for the whole family!'

'We are six senior kayakers who enjoyed three nights in this spacious, modern house on the Buckhannon River. This is a great choice if you are looking for a beautiful river view, listening to several species of birds, and don't mind the remote location. Not sure when the train runs, but we didn't hear it.'
