'Loved loved loved! Wished I had booked this for the entire trip and probably will book again if I return. The home was thoughtfully curated and exactly as pictured. Very scenic drive and quiet neighborhood. Instructions were straightforward with check-in/route/guidelines and host was very responsive. Note: if you are using public transport and have more than a back pack, I suggest catching a ride from the drop off point to the home.'

'This felt like a luxury apartment with a private onsen, large tv and bbq. The location itself is near a train station and several bus stops. Please be aware that this property is on a mountain so getting to those might stretch your calf muscles. Lovely location!'

'Beautiful room with a lovely view and private onsen.'

'The property itself is really nice and they offer pick up/drop off from Gora station. Breakfast was good. There isn’t a lot around this hotel so it seems best for those planning to stay at the hotel for meals/amenities/etc. They offer scheduled drop offs at Odawara train station but it’s only convenient for those going back to Tokyo (we were headed to Kyoto and had to take the city bus instead).'

'Beautiful peaceful stay. The staff was so sweet and supportive. The property was a dream!'

'Very clean and modern, in a great location for the Hakone loop. The beds are VERY uncomfortable- both the futons and the single beds which are soooo noisy it’s impossible to sleep because every time you breathe they creak. Apart from the very poor sleep, this place had everything you needed with a well stocked kitchen and nice bathroom.'

'We did our check in and were so unhappy about the hotel, the tiny rooms that looked so cheap. Only the view was nice but except for that it was really notnlikenon the pics. We fienoue check out after an hour because of the disappoint'

'Really love our stay! The location is amazing and walking distance to so many sights and restaurants. Very good communication and the place was kept very clean. Would recommend!'

'An amazing house with great volume, vaulted ceilings, 4 bedrooms and a private onsen bath. The house was beautiful, perfectly located near all the exciting restaurants and sights around Hakone. A perfect place to spend a few days and I wish we had more time to truly enjoy it fully. Lots of windows, a beautiful garden, gorgeous interior with wood paneling everywhere and some rooms with traditional tatami mats. Highly recommend !'

'We followed all check-in instructions exactly as provided, but had no response from the host during the check-in process — nobody answered when we tried to reach them. Note that there are no nearby places/amenities, and you will need a car to get to this property. There was no communication from the host during our stay or at check-out either. The first we heard of any issue was after checkout, when the host raised a damage claim for something that appears to have pre-dated our stay, with no...
