'Be aware of the room you are choosing. We stayed in Aft Castle room 6. The online pictures show living areas, kitchens etc but we had one very small room and small bathroom, with no additional living areas, not representative of the photos. If you have mobility issues, this is not your room, as it is three floor walk up. As well, there is very limited parking on site, with overflow parking one block away.'

'Close to interesting boardwalk along harbour in Halifax and right in the lower part of the center with many restaurants nearby. This means also that you have to walk uphill in many cases. Hotel is somewhat dated and internetreception was less than expected. Friendly personnel. '

'We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get around and explore. We were thoroughly impressed by our newly renovated suite, which was spotlessly clean and fresh. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals easily.
