'Unit not very clean.. windows very dirty and deck and table covered with bugs, bird poop and spider webs. Dog poop at base of stairs.. very utilitarian unit. Bed comfortable but everything else very dated. Communication with host was good and prompt. I did not communicate disappointment at time of check in but we did leave early. Refund for early check out not granted.'

'Property worked great for my friend and I. Great, central location in safe neighborhood. We'll stocked with what we needed for a few days. It's very small, so I wouldn't recommend for kids, but perfect for adults. The pull out couch wasn't very comfortable, so we ended up sharing the bed. I'd definitely recommend for your stay at the outer banks.'

'Adorable room with artistic touches. Truly set in the treetops. Great shops, restaurants and easy ferry access nearby. Of course you are right near the beach and lighthouse. Only negative would be steps for someone that can’t climb easily and no TV but we knew both up front. '

There was a problem with city drains so the parking lot was flooded a couple nights, which caused a lot of dirt to be tracked into the unit, but this wasn't a problem with the rental. 'We loved the space and all the detail that Daniel put into it. We loved the photos of the reconstruction of his home. The space was clean and efficient and cozy. We had plenty of privacy yet Daniel was readily available when we reached out. He gave us some good tips for dining and some must see tourist spots. I would highly recommend.'

"This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
