'It’s on Asylum Street, and that tells you a lot. There was a guy gesticulating to the heavens who blocked my entry to the parking lot. There was another guy in a Yankee cap who really wanted to chat when I was trapped at a red light. I saw him a couple times. There was a shower that didn’t get hot for 10 minutes. 'I had issues with food and room charges when I went to the front desk they said they were not part of the restaurant so I would have to discuss the issue with them. Which I did the restaurant staff were excellent and did resolve the issue. However when I checked out the front desk said there were not additional charges and they would email the receipt. 'This is a truly lovely property. The grounds are exquisite and include a 75' lap pool and lovely patio and area for artist retreats. Nice robes, comfy linens, a fabulous shower. Fireplace that throws a good amount of heat and easy to use air conditioning. Good instruction book. Some small details were overlooked--a nice coffee nook to make tea or coffee but no water available to use or drink.'
