'We had rented this house previously and rented it again for a family gathering. It has been great both times we’ve rented. The house is nicely arranged for accommodating couples, families, and individuals, and provides a comfortable spot for spending relaxing time on beautiful Hat Island. The lot and picnic table across the road provide a wonderful view of Puget Sound, boats, and the state ferries.'

'The property is as shown in the listing, but the "heated" part of the pool amenity in the title is not included in the rental fees (there is a daily electrical fee for heating the pool). As with many rentals with a game room, a number of machines were out of order, but the majority worked and were a value-add. The house is well equipped and is comfortable for a small group. The pool is the best amenity. My guests all enjoyed the house and commented positively on what a great place it was.'

'Chris hosted us for a short visit to the area. The room is clean and updated. The listing was accurate, and the bed was comfortable. I believe we were in the flight path for paine field but after a couple of early evening flyovers, it was quiet. The property is lovely and the view cannot be beat. '

'Unit was very large with beautifully equipped kitchen. Bonus was it even had a dishwasher! Yard was partially fenced which was an added benefit if traveling with a pet. Only downside were the trains running in the middle of the night if you’re a light sleeper. Very clean and well maintained. Great value for the size and amenities. '

'This site is nice. Definitely off grid. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, hard at a rock. The tioilet/porta potty to the site we booked was out of order so we needed to go to the next site over.We had to cut our trip sorry due to illness and couldn't get a refund.'

'Adults who slept over for a 2 day retreat were all able-bodied and able to navigate the steps indoor and outdoor. Two people joined us for the day who had knee issues and once they got into the house, they were fine.'

'We had a great stay here. The layout of the home seemed a little strange at first, but it worked out great giving everyone their privacy. We had 5 adults and 3 children and had ample space. Don’t be discouraged as you are driving up to the home (the neighborhood looks a little suspect). We had a great time there and wish we could have stayed longer. '

'It is a beautiful property with everything you need to feel like you're at a cabin in the mountains. It has beautiful views of the canal. It even has a fully functioning outside bathroom. It was so peaceful and quiet. We really enjoyed our time there and we definitely be staying there again! Don't forget to bring smores to have on the open fire. '

'Clear communication and kind interaction with management. Such a fun place to stay with children who can explore the woods, endlessly and find magic in every nook and cranny. The extra wood available for the fire pit was so great and appreciated. We were unable to find bug repellent that stated would be left, but we didn’t have any issues. 'Very off the grid. Nice walkable property. The bed in our tent was very uncomfortable, extremely hard. Head to cut our visit sorry due to illness but would go back with extra supplies to make the bed more comfortable.'

'This is an exceptional location for observing both nature and the varied ships sailing by. My grandkids loved the sandy beach and spotting rabbits, deer, eagles and orcas! It was a truly peaceful and relaxing stay. The host is very warm and helpful in every way. '
