'Won't be staying at a La Quinta again. Property and room smelled like dirty wet carpet. Had to buy lysol to spray the room down. We encountered a scorpion in the hallway and a cockroach in the hotel room. Beds were comfortable, but room was very small. No couch. Elevators and ice machine were out of service. There was also an area closed off due to broken tiles. The grass around the property was overgrown and looked unkept. They also did not have cribs for baby. They said they had one crib, but...

'The staff were friendly and really nice however the property itself was not the best. The room was muggy and everything inside just felt damp the entire time. We felt really uncomfortable and overall it just wasn’t the best experience.'

'The room was in terrible shape. Dirty and stained base boards, stained cloth chair. Scratched furniture. Bathroom floors needed to be swept. Full length mirror was missing on the bathroom door, holes and big glue stains on the door. TV was hard to operate. I was worried about bed bugs based on the condition of the room. Large trash can near the stair well was overflowing, had a terrible odor. Stair well steps had dirt clumps on them.'

'Room was very clean and the A/C works great! The staff was really friendly at check in. Bed and pillows were quite comfortable. There were cracked tiles on the bathroom floor and a large bad patch job on the ceiling by the window. Also, my door stuck pretty bad making it difficult to open and close.'

'When I first reserved this place for my wife and mother in law, it showed a 7+rating about 2 months ago. When they got there it was dirty, nasty, and unkept. I went to the app that I used to rent it and the rating was now a 4.2. How does a property drop in rating that much in 2 months. It has to be because of the place itself and the ownership/ management. I don’t recommend this place for anyone.'

The room I happened to book was an accessible room (it was one of the only rooms available) that had a big bathroom that had no ventilation fan, and if you used the shower the floor got wet no matter how careful you were. The lack of ventilation and wet bathroom meant there was mold in the caulking along the shower and the whole room was excessively humid.
