'UPON ARRIVAL YOU SEE A SIGN THAT SAYS PRIVATE RD. SO I TURNED AROUND AND LEFT. BACKED TRACKED AND LOOKED ELSEWHERE. AFTER 30 MINUTES OF GOING DOWN OTHER ROADS, I WENT BACK AND WENT BACK TO PRIVATE RD AND WENT PASSED SIGN. THEN I SEEN ANOTHER SIGN WITH THE ADDRESS AND IT WAS NOT VERY BIG. COULD NOT SEE IT FROM THE SIGN THAT SAID PRIVATE. NORMALY WHEN YOU SEE A SIGN THAT SAYS PRIVATE RD. YOU DON'T GO PAST IT. I SUGGEST A SIGN THAT SAYS HICKORY HIDEOUT.'

'This place is incredible. We loved the views and the peacefulness. Definitely recommend. We celebrated our 23 anniversary and had the best time. Loved the sunrises and sunsets. Also great DVD collection. Wish there was more creek access or maybe kayaks available. But very nice stay. '

'We arrived a little late and when we walked in it was so nice, it smelled clean there was soft music playing. The home was so welcoming, the bed was so comfortable, and the hot tub was clean. I loved everything about it, would have just moved in if i could the kitchen had everything you need to cook, i made quit a few meals, even cinnamon rolls. There was a grill outside that my husband used a few times the game room was fun aswell. I hadn't realized there was an Alexa/speaker or whatever...

'Really enjoyed the view from this quaint cabin. Loved the hot tub on the cool mornings and really appreciated the fact that it was pet-friendly. It had everything we could possibly need, including a washer and dryer and dish washer. High-end appliances in the kitchen were a pleasant surprise. '

'Property was clean, decorated well, and nothing was left out. We planned to go to the grocery store when we got there, but realized there was not one close by. So we were happy the cupboard was already stocked with things. The next morning, we picked up what we needed at the Dollar General and Country Store next door (they had the veggies). If you aren’t wanting to be next to other campers, this is perfect. We wanted seclusion. We were not able to get the wifi to work, so no tv. But who needs...

'Great place for a family to get out and wonder. Cabin was nice and cozy. We will be back for sure in the future. And kyayks were fun no fish biting though. Better for fall and winter here as summer will dry up all creeks and waterfalls around. But awesome place to stay for sure!! '
