In general, it was a good place to stay as a couple with 2 kids. For more adults, it would be a challenge.
Beds were quite hard.
They have a lot of utensils, china and silverware.
The Bridges also has a shuttle to go to the mountain (so you can leave your car parked).

'This is a great place to stay overnight or for several days! The rooms are nicely designed, and the fireplace in the lobby is a nice touch when thinking ahead to fall/winter. The highlight of the property is the multiple fire pits and seating areas down along the river. It was beautiful down there, and spending the evening along the river was exactly what I had hoped for. I will be staying again! '

'Fantastic little inn set in the scenic Green Mountains. Check in and out was super easy with text/digital communication. The common areas of the in are beautiful and accommodating with plenty of seating areas inside an out to enjoy the seasonal setting. I will absolutely be staying again! '

'The lodge was located in very rural mountains area and the landscape was beautiful and scenic. The property was well kept however they need to consider upgrading their electrical system. The staff were very attentive and responsive to our needs. While they conducted a subway and advised us of the situation in the area. Or needs to be said about the lack of food options or even a general store. But overall, we had a wonderful time in the area was absolutely beautiful.'

'The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had originally booked a stay somewhere else, and were very disappointed when we got there. We ended up leaving the place we originally booked, and so thankful that we found Mad River Lodge to turn around our weekend getaway. We would absolutely recommend and return in the future. '
