'We had so much fun! The boys fished for hours, played on the paddle boat, and we enjoyed a fire in the fire pit too! Very quiet and peaceful. Great communication from host too. '

'Owner was very personable and helpful. The cabin is vintage without a lot of modern upgrades, but that is what makes it charming. Kind of like stepping into a 1940's lakeside resort. It had all of the proper necessities, fridge, microwave, stove, kitchen wares, etc. It was clean and comfortable. Cable tv worked fine. They supplied some wood for a campfire which was nice and each cabin has their own firepit. The lake is beautiful and we could launch our kayaks from the edge beyond the seawall,...

'The cottage is lovely - reminding me of one my Great Aunt owned on the South Shore. Warm, inviting, the hosts were extremely helpful and easy to reach when necessary. So many amenities to choose from and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. I would definitely rent this location again. '

'Did not know there would be no bath towels or sheets on the bed , Had to drive into Alpena 30 min away to but towels wash cloth and sheets , was not happy about that'
