'I wish we would have had more downtime on our vacation but one of the best things was waking up and sitting on the lanai and drinking coffee in the morning and watching the waves and ocean activity. Very nicely appointed condo which had everything we needed including snorkle gear! Very happy with the condo and would definately stay here again if traveling to Kona!'

'This was our second stay at this condo resort. This condo is a nice 1 bedroom located on the south side of the building overlooking Honl's Beach. The condo is very nice and suited two of just perfectly, but can accommodate an additional 1 or 2 people. The kitchen is well appointed, even having a coffee bean grinder (necessary for grinding the Kona coffee beans that you purchase at the growers' farms) and a blender. There is some salt & pepper and a few odds and ends in the kitchen pantry closet...

'Hotelbar bij het zwembad was geen aanrader, bier uit een plastic beker hoort niet bij een dergelijk hotel. Hotel was wel zeer gunstig gelegen in Kona. Ook erg fijn was het gratis (goed) ontbijt wat van het hotel krijgen aangeboden.'

'Vintage Hawaiian charm and hospitality. Some renovation work taking place in the Lagoon Tower which had no impact on our stay. I hope they don’t price out the budget travelers by going upscale. Our room was clean, comfortable. Partial ocean view was much better than expected. The view and dining experience at Don the Beachcombers was superb. Hotel staff was friendly and professional. I’ve stayed here before and return for the value and Hawaiian ambience sadly missing from some of the other...
