We booked through Hotels.com and received a contact number to the apartment manager. When I called, I was told that there was no booking and that if I wanted to stay, I would have to pay cash. We (2 kids, 2 adults) arrived at 21:00 and were stranded, so we paid for one night.
We spoke with other people outside the building while we waited to be able to get in, and those people had the same experience, even though we all paid in advance.
The apartment had no utensils or dishes. There was no cleaning supplies for dishes, and the overall feel of the apartment was just "ok." I do not recommend using them.
