Unfortunately, our stay at this property was very disappointing.
We booked through Expedia based on the impressive photos and description, but none of it reflected reality. The apartment was unclean and poorly maintained. There was a thick layer of dust under the beds along with leftovers from previous guests, such as slippers and rubbish. The entire place felt neglected.
The bathrooms were in particularly bad condition — moldy, stained, and generally unclean. The toilet seats were dirty, and the bed linen was wrinkled. There were no tissues, no basic sanitary items, and nothing provided to make the stay comfortable or enjoyable.
Upon arrival, we were told that payment had to be in cash only. Since we didn't have cash on hand, we had to go and exchange money. The owner then asked for either cash, a deposit, or our passports as security — which we refused. Communication was very difficult as they did not speak English, and the entire check-in process took nearly an hour of stress and confusion.
The only positive was the price, but even then, it did not justify the overall experience. Additionally, the tour operators were unable to collect us saying it too far; the property is not registered on Expedia Tours as a pick up option.
Overall, we would not stay here again and cannot recommend it.
