'The home is large, single story. In neighborhood of big older homes. Well maintained with newer bathrooms and appliances. Wood floors have been neatly preserved. About 100 steps to large outlet mall and 2 blocks to Franklin street stores and restaurants. Walk to beach about 20 minutes so we drove. There are 2 living rooms, a front room w table and chairs and an eat-in kitchen seating 6. The deck off kitchen has seating for 5 and the large backyard has a fire pit and seating area. Great for...

'Very nice! We had some difficulty getting in with access code/lock and I was freaking a bit - but help arrived quickly and everything g was smooth thereafter. Place is cool and in an artsy area. Farmers market across street Saturdays in summer and little restaurants and shops. Blocks from other strips and the outlet mall and a short drive to the lake. Very comfortable and nice home base for a weekend break!'

'The home was beautiful and felt very new, up-to-date and modern. The home, as well as the location, were lovely and peaceful. We were in the area for a wedding and had other family members in another VRBO. We were all able to come together (apprx 16 of us) at this home for hamburgers on the grill and to sit back, relax and enjoy marshmallows over the firepit later in the evening. '

'Super cute house and an easy walk to the beach (just one little hill). Loved the neighborhood—nice and quiet, and Flamingo Pizza is right around the corner! The owners were awesome and super quick to respond. Had such a great time here and will definitely be back!'

'Check-in was totally fine. I called to let them know our checkout would be about 30 minutes delayed and they were fine with it. One upstairs room, one downstairs room, and a very spacious living room area that was one big great room.Kitchen was good and clean. Wifi was great upstairs, but just be aware that it is very spotty in the downstairs area. The driveway is fine. 'The house was clean, comfy, and charming. Perfect for our home base as we visited several friends after moving away from Valparaiso a couple of years ago. Some accessibility features were very helpful after a recent injury. This is a great spot for a visit to Valpo. Highly recommended. '
