'This is a beautiful hotel built with many thoughtful features including French press coffee in the rooms. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we loved having a hotel car available for short trips to downtown/wharf area. The lobby/lounge is elegant yet cozy. Highly recommend. '

'Fantastic stay. We had the Stovall room which was very spacious. Bed was huge and comfy and the bathroom was also very big. Nice shower with lots of water pressure and nice products. Service was super friendly and everything was clearly explained. We’re lucky enough to be able to park next to the building. Only thing that could finish things off would be a small fridge in the room and a coffee maker.'

'We had a great stay at the Press Hotel in October to celebrate a wedding anniversary. Staff were pleasant and knowledgeable and the location is great. Close to all we wanted to do. We did not dine in the restaurant but it looked lovely. The room we were in was nice and spacious with a comfy bed and really nice bathroom. Our only complaint is that the heating/cooling in our room did not seem to work efficiently. We would set the thermostat to 66 to sleep and it would never get below 68 degrees in...

'I loved this hotel! I stayed here for 4 nights while visiting Portland. The staff were absolutely lovely, always so kind and welcoming. The place itself has an old Victorian feel and was exactly the vibe I was going for. The room was cozy and tidy, and I had no issues with the shared bathroom. I had read several reviews about parking being an issue, yes the lot is very small but they have a second lot that was less than a 2 minute walk and I never had any issues with it.
