After three weeks in Vietnam, spending a few days at the Island Pacific before heading back home was wonderful. The staff were welcoming and helpful.
The pool could use some sunshades and a bar, though. And an extra luggage rack in the room would be nice too.
The breakfast buffet is expensive but well assorted. Too bad about the over-salted, undercooked potatoes and unpalatable office machine coffee. À la carte lunch and dinner dishes are reasonably priced but mediocre. And I would expect that for almost HK$ 70 they could do better than serve very regular Lipton tea.
