'This is a great place to stay to get away from it all! Close enough to Hilo to get back into the all of you want. We also wound up driving north around the island to the west side a bit more than towards Hilo. Just sitting on the porch and looking out at the sky & ocean was so peaceful. 'My husband and I so enjoyed our stay in the Pineapple Cottage at Hulili Farm. While the location made sight-seeing around the island easy, we often opted to stay in and enjoy the sound of the rain on the roof and the sway of the hanging bed on the lanai. We hope to come back again soon!'

'We had a fabulous time here in this beautifully restored surf cottage. Great location, David and Kim were great! Kitchen stocked with everything you may need, plenty of towels. 'I know it's cliche, but I truly wish I could give Bev and Gerry more than five stars. Their property is stunning - we spent half a day just roaming the beautiful grounds, seeing the plants and animals. It's incredibly secluded and felt like we were in our very own tropical paradise. Bev and Gerry are outstanding hosts and do everything they can to make the place welcoming and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here, and hope we can make it back one day.'

'Loved the location and the views. Between Waimea and Kawaihae just a short trip to either town. Markets in Waimea are a treat to visit, Kawaihae harbor, Spencer Beach Park, Kiholo Bay, Hawi and Pololu Valley all in easy driving distance. The house is well equipped and very comfortable and host Yumi is so helpful. Good food and fun atmosphere at the Kawaihae Seafood Bar and Grill. Saw beautiful sunsets and lots of whales.'

'A stunning and beautiful situation and location. The hosts Garrett and Kaia were so pleasant to deal with and very helpful. They made suggestions as to sights to see and good places to eat, going so far as to even picking up a meal for us. There was plenty of room at this location for all of our family and each member had their own room. Out grand children greatly enjoyed the animal life both domestic and wild. 'The property was great. Clean. Functional. Comfy. Based on the pictures we were looking for a place a little more away from neighbors and this isn’t that. Neighbors are right close because the property is long and narrow BUT the way the yard is bordered by trees/other plant life you do get privacy. I feel like a picture of the parking area would make the house easier to find so you would know what you are looking for street side.'
