'Like lipstick on a pig. Cheap updates made to an already outdated property. Paper thin towels and sheets. The 2nd floor was under construction. Had to move from a room on that floor. The room smelled damp and musty, like air hadn’t circulated in it for over a year. The front desk staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating.'

'I don’t usually try to write a bad review but this experience was too much
There is no way the pictures used are anywhere near current. Neither room we had didn’t have something broken. The ceiling look like it had been patched 10 different spots.
We had 2 rooms. I called for days and could not get anyone on the phone to ask if we could have connected rooms got there and they are like oh yeah we have some but you had to be earlier …
Upon checking in we waited 25 minutes for someone to come...

'False advertisement the pictures of the rooms are not the same as pictures in Expedia and it's a bunch of homeless people staying there and outside all day and night with junk everywhere so it's not the safest and the rooms are beyond disgusting they do the bare minimum of cleaning.Doors don't close all the way and there's broken cabinets and blinds so people can see of ur room.Not worth spending money on a stay here.'

'Had a reservation on a relatively busy weekend due to a concert. Only offered rooms on arrival were strictly “smoking-friendly” rooms. Understandably, smelled like an ash tray. I was offered Lysol if the smell was “too bad,” but that’s “about all that can be done,” according to staff. Denied any type of refund due to third-party booking. Uprooted the stay and paid for a different property’s room. Not great'

'The entire property was in disrepair and dirty. Nothing looked like it had online. I took pictures of the unacceptable state of the room, and went back to the office to hand in the key cards. I immediately checked out and my husband and I found a room elsewhere in town. I have stayed at plenty of other Econo Lodge locations and have had positive experiences with the chain.
