'I booked thru Expedia and pre-paid $48 with Expedia points. I had a confirmation # a reservation and shared it with the front desk staff. He denied my confirmation # and my reservation (said it was a mix up). He proceeded to more than doubled the price. I reported this to Expedia, book a different hotel, much more expensive so I could sleep after a long travel day. Expedia asked the hotel manager to refund my $48 he declined. Im seriously considering ending my relationship with Expedia. ...

'The staff was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast and coffee was very good. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Unfortunately, the USB outlets by the bed and under the TV weren't working, but the one on the lamp was. The TV occasionally had bad reception, but not too bad.The air conditioning unit by the window leaked water on the floor at times, but it still worked well and kept the room nice and cool.'

'This place is run-down, needing renovations, without any communication from staff for “out of order” ice machines, knowing this has pissed off many guests who eventually find their way to the restaurant to get ice, where the bartender is more helpful and hospitable than the hotel staff.
The phone inside our “suite” didn’t work to call front desk and when we tried to call front desk on our cell phone, no one answered.
Thanks for the extra obstacles and work, just to relax and watch the Spurs...

'After a long 6 hour drive we arrive at our destination at 3am, the staff was very helpful and friendly to best accommodate us and the whole experience was as amazing. Three days here were so worth the drive. My mother and I were worried for bedbugs but thank God there was none what’s so ever. The nights here were lovely. I am just going to say I will be staying here for my next trips to visit Texas Tech.'

'Its a shame this hotel is branded Staybridge.
I have seen a lot of Staybridge hotels, and this one is an absoluut dump.
Compleet rundown place, would not be a problem if it looks like 1980, but apparently that was the last time it was cleaned.
Filty bath, filthy kitchen, no water pressure, AC will kill you.
Stayed 2 nights. Because of location, second day no room service.
Should have handed them the keys and left first night, but the perfect location to TX tech kept me. '
