'The beds were 'done'. When I sat down my butt was basically on the box spring. The bathroom was grungy - just old and tired, black mouldy grout. The breakfast did not have any juice, bananas or yoghurt - things I missed. We didn't get the room we booked - I booked a room with a couch, instead we got two queens. 'I checked into this hotel at 34 weeks pregnant, hoping for a quiet weekend getaway, but it turned out to be the complete opposite. From around 8 PM onward, there was nonstop noise, including loud music, banging on doors, thumping, and people screaming in the hallways. I kept waiting for things to settle down after 10 PM, but it never did.
To make matters worse, the toilet in my room wasn’t working. It was completely clogged and wouldn’t flush.
