'After driving three and a half hours to reach our accommodation, we were shocked to be told on arrival that our room had been cancelled. We received no phone call, email, or any form of communication beforehand.
When we spoke to the hotel staff, they repeatedly blamed the third-party booking platform, saying that was the reason for the cancellation. This made no sense, as I have used this same platform for years to book holidays both overseas and throughout Australia without ever experiencing...

'I had a fantastic stay at Argo Apartments. The building is very new, and the rooms are beautifully appointed with everything you need for a comfortable visit. The location is excellent — right on Church Street and only a short walk to the Mall, Belmore Basin, and both North and City Beach.
One of the standout features of Argo is how incredibly quiet the apartments are. I enjoyed a truly peaceful and restful stay, which made the experience even better.

'The property appeared to be new or recently renovated, and overall, the room was spacious, clean, and located in a quiet neighbourhood. I stayed for one night while attending a wedding reception nearby.

'I was pleasantly surprised. From the outside I was a little worried what I got myself into :). But level 1 I panicked when it smelt like smoke but once you are up on level 2 in the room area it was fresh, clean and inviting. Bathrooms need a little maintenance but overall the place was clean and the amenities where sufficient. There is soup, shampoo, clean towels and a comfy bed. The patrons down stairs can get rowdy on a footy night but we slept well.'
