'Stayed for one night with 6 family members and the dog. Lodged in one of the newer cabins and it worked perfect for us. Check was available right on time and parking was close enough to make the move in convenient. Very clean and ready to go when we showed up. The amenities are great for both the cabin and the property as a whole. Family took out the kayaks on the lake to explore with were all in great condition. Charcoal grill and table right outside cabin door was perfect for out cookout...

'Came up last minute for wife’s birthday and loved the place! Perfect for a couple to relax. Very clean, owners were great and quick to answer our questions and provide us with what we needed. Within walking distance to the lake, DNR boat launch, and bar/restaurants. '

'Stayed in Houghton Lake for one night. This was a perfect little motel feel. Beds were super comfy. Shower was a little wonky and my tall hubs had to duck under. Needs a little dusting in the corners, but overall clean and had good amenities.'

'Communication with owner and the lady who's the manages the rentals was fantastic. They were considerate but couldn't help out since the whole place was booked that day. It emptied out the following day and we didn't get offered a better spot. According to Vrbo we thought we rented the one 20 steps off the water because of medical reasons and ended up 150 steps off the water with a small concrete slab and a gravel parking lot outside our door. No place for 2 adults, one with a knee problem and...
