Showed up to check in and valet was completely full. Had my kids and full of luggage and valet was not even an option. So I dropped them off and parked car in self parking. Self parking is about 2 blocks away and was hard to find. After driving around 30 minutes in circles finally found the entrance. It was about 8PM when we checked in and hotel wasn't prepared at all. Took about 1 hour of standing in line to finally get to the counter to get our room. By the time we get up to the room way too late to order food so just put kids to bed. Went to take a shower and in the corner of the sink there is a big hole where cabinet doesn't go all the way flush with the wall. I noticed a towel that was full of blood and absolutely disgusting and never touched it. I figured housekeeping wearing gloves would find it but never once touched it and left it there entire stay. Went down stairs the next evening that day and the entire lobby was FULL OF SMOKE I actually thought there was a fire. I went to the front desk immediately and asked them if there was a fire and they said no its the restaurant biggios smoking us out. There was an entire layer of smoke everywhere so we got out immediately as it was burning our eyes. We usually stay at the Hilton each time and come here twice a year for volleyball tournaments but will be staying at Hilton next time. We only tried this one out for the first time because of the pool they have.

Overall stay was good with beautiful pool. But checkout left a sour taste in our mouths. We were told to park in a parking garage by the front desk which was $45 overnight vs valet at $65. We get to the garage and are told we needed to pay it on the room to get that pricing because if not we would have needed to pay double so I walk back. The front desk lady gave motel 8 customer service instead of the caliber of custoners that go to marriott and we get to the gargae AGAIN and then the card they gave us was not working so we were just waiting there to be let out. It was such a hassle and ordeal that too longer than should have as it made me late to work as well.
