'Spotless. Comfortable bed and very pleasant room. The staff on reception were outstanding, especially the one lady who chatted to the six of us in the bar. She was lovely. The barman gave us good tips as well. Would stay here again as good position to stroll around town and visit the city library. '

If there is a downside, the bathrooms are tired and need upgrading. We always have an exec room. They have been modernised and upgraded, with the exception of carpets. But the bathrooms have not. Our extractor fan didn't work at all. '

Breakfast was lovely with enough choice. Room good, bed a bit too soft for me. The fan was a welcome addition as it got hot overnight and the quilt is very warm.
