'We did not plan ahead and needed a place to stay on the 4th of July. This gem of a propert had a room open at a decent price! The front desk staff had no customer service skills or information on the breakfast offered or pool. We were able to see the fireworks from our room which was a great suprise. The breakfast was horrible very few options and messy.'

'Clean, renovated room. Good breakfast. Very nice overnight stay. Front desk staff was very friendly and professional. Only issue was the old electrical outlets in the room that were loose and would not grip/hold the plug when you plug something in (like phone charger.) Phone charger would simply just fall back out of the outlet after you plug it in. These outlets should be addressed as soon as practicable. Other than that, very enjoyable stay. '

'Fun little motel. Our room was a good size. Huge bathroom. There was even a kitchenette with fridge, hand sink, and microwave. We had the bottom floor. Not the motels fault but the family with 2 children above us were so loud that i had to let them know. Dad apologized and we were just fine after that. Btw i waited until 11pm. Small parking lot but never had a problem getting one. Just a few blocks from old downtown and harbor.'

'We loved our time at the Gingerbread mansion. Oliva was an amazing host. Breakfast prepared each day was some of the best we have had. Snacks provided at tea time each day were also a big perk. The mansion was such a cozy experience. We loved our time spent at the mansion as well as exploring the town of Ferndale. Hiking and exploring the town made our time there very memorable. I fear future B&Bs may be ruined for me as this was my first time experiencing a true B&B experience and any future...

'Great room at a great price. Reception was very warm and friendly; the room was like new after a total restoration. Would have preferred a walk-in shower, but the tub was new and had a curved shower curtain rod for greater space. Parking was convenient and we would go out of our way to stay again. A definite 9 out of 10. '

'het hotel heeft ons echt verrast en de kamers waren in positieve zijn compleet anders dan op de foto. De kamers waren namelijk compleet vernieuwd en gemoderniseerd. Verder is het qua geluid heel rustig en je hoord letterlijk niets, dus ook niet de weg waar het hotel aanligt. Ook de wifi was prima en lekker snel. In de buurt vind je overigens veel restaurants waar je heerlijk kan eten.'

'Perfect stay in walking distance to the cozy centre of Ferndale. Our host Uffe was so nice and he is Dane like us, so we we had some good talk. The apartment was very cozy and decorated in Danish old traditional style. When we woke up in the morning there was Elks in the garten which was more a pleasure for us than for Uffe and his Wife. We will give this cute and quit place our hugest recommendations.'
