'We had a lovely, relaxing stay at this gem nestled next to Garden of the Gods. The property is beautiful and the staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable about the history behind the hotel. They were doing construction on the castle when we were there so we could only see the first floor. We stayed in one of the lodges. The rooms are simple and clean. Great for an affordable getaway and home base while you explore Manitou and the surrounding area.'

Was sharing bed with my 8 yr old, and the bed sinks one side. Breakfast was nice and hot, could have more options. Coffee was really good. The view of mountains was really good too.'

In addition to the bathroom mirror, there's a full length mirror right inside the door with a corner shelf and a plug next to it. This makes it so convenient for 2 people to get ready simultaneously. There's also a good sized bench for luggage along with a drop zone for keys etc and a desk with a very nice and bright desk light. A desk chair and a corner chair provide ample seating. The parking garage is across the street, there are no carts to haul your luggage through a parking garage, down an alley across the street to check in on the 2nd floor of the Hotel. Quite inconvenient and sooo many sketchy, drugged out weirdos in that area. It’s sad to see Colorado Springs go downhill. '
