'My daughter and I stayed at Carl’s place for a few days to see the eclipse. The chalet is absolutely lovely and we loved waking up each morning to the sunrise & the trees and the view of the lake…it was magical. Carl was nothing but wonderful and is there to make your stay memorable. Would definitely recommend!'

'We booked this property and filled each bed with friends to experience the eclipse. While the host couldn't control the weather, it ended up being the perfect location (and experience)! The house was just as described and the kitchen was fully stocked with every pan or utensil you could think of, which was helpful as we prepared each meal at the house (all ten of us fit around the table). Central location - we took a walk to the train depot, fire pit was used to cook lunch over, plenty of hot...

'The house is located in a quiet neighborhood about a bike ride away from the town of Old Forge. It is nicely renovated and clean with everything you would need. The neighbor was very friendly and helpful! Would definitely stay again! Thank you for a lovely visit!'

'This was a great experience. The eight of us enjoyed the Palmer Point House. The reality was better than the pictures, and the pictures were wonderful. Everyone commented that the place was beyond their expectations and they would want to go back. We rented the boats form next door and that too was a great experience. Very glad we found this palce and rented it.'

'We rented this house for the weekend of Snodeo in Old Forge. The house is conveniently located and is within walking distance to the restaurants and bars. We had a vendor booth at the Snodeo show so we didn't spend much time at the house but it worked out perfectly for what we needed. Communication with the host was excellent.'

'My husband and I stayed with our 3 children ages 11, 17, 24 and our daughter in law and 2 grandchildren ages 1 & 3. There was plenty of room for all of us. The house was clean and comfortable. It is a block off of main street and easy to walk to shop and eat. The few questions I had prior to arriving were answered very quickly. We had a great stay! Thanks Josh & Alyssa!'

'We had the privilege of staying here with our family over Christmas. The furniture was comfortable so we could just relax and enjoy. The gas fireplace was a nice touch. The grill was great as we did a BBQ for the whole family. We had a terrific time here with family and relaxing. I will say that the pictures do make the cabin look larger than it actually is.'

'A lovely cabin- all updated and very new/ clean but still had a lot of character and cozy feels. We loved using the fireplace and loft-type upstairs bedroom. In a great location- right in the village area of Inlet. Close to old forge, hiking trails and the chain lakes. Walking distance to downtown/ village park. Also right next door to a great town park with hiking trails. A great spot if you have kids. Highly recommend'
