'curious place historic so the external bathroom was an understandable feature. Shutting everything at 4pm was not what I expected however! A hotel that charges a high price to stay (at least in my books) but provides no restaurant or bar in the evening when the rooms are all full is not trying hard enough. No explaination from the owner other than it is what it is! Luckily his attitude was more than compensated by the other staff, particularly those at breakfast who helped you start the day with...

'The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. I did one small load of laundry and it cost $16, $8 for washer and dryer machine tokens, $4 for a single packet of soap and $4 for three dryer sheets. Fairly outrageous. Otherwise a reasonable stay.'
