'We were looking for a couple nights near Mt. Washington on our vacation to the northeast during the first part of June and stumbled across this hidden gem in Bretton Woods. This house in the private community sits at the bottom of a cul-de-sac right on the Ammonnoosuc River while still getting distant views of Mt. Washington and the northern presidential peaks. 'Incredible location, close to Storyland, downtown North Conway, Echo Lake, and down the street from Cranmore. The backyard/grounds are beautiful and very well maintained, and we loved using the hot tub and fire pit and looking out at the mountain views. There is a lot of space and the house seemed sound proof, which was nice since we were with family and kids ranged from age 2-10! The library was so cozy. The beds could use an upgrade, but otherwise everything was perfect! '

'House was nice beds were uncomfortable. Communication with Vacasa not the best was almost 1 hr late checking in do to miscommunication on needing to download their app to check in. '

'This was a great experience for my whole family as we were able to enjoy each other’s company in the beautiful White Mountains. The hot tub was a nice touch. '

'Our family of five (one being our doggy) enjoyed our stay very much. The house was clean and spacious for us. The view was incredible! We all enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board, along with some great fishing! We enjoyed the ice cream at Sweeties Pies down the road. We were too busy on the water to pull ourselves away to explore Pleasant Mountain, but a very nice neighbor down the street told us there is a great trail off of Mountain Road if we wanted to hike the mountain. '

'This home was very comfortable!! Loved the open floor plan and space to be able to spread out. My family had an amazing thanks giving dinner here, kitchen accommodated everything, even had a foil turkey pan awaiting my arrival!! Perfect!! My only complaint was sink drainage was very sluggish, had to wash dishes by hand because when I filled dishwasher and started it, It started quickly leaking all over floor. Other than that our stay was amazing!!! Had a great time!!'

'Charming place to stay within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants that I will be returning to! Good size property for your dog for the quick pees in between walks (please pick-up after). The living space revolves around the fireplace which is perfect for winter stays. "Our experience was a mixed bag. Check in was good; the British lady was lovely and friendly. The room was nice and spacious and everything was clean and functional. However, the floors are made of wood and carry a lot of noise. We had a family with small children staying in the room above ours and it was like a herd of elephants was stomping around up there. The pool and hot tubs could do with a good scrubbing. The water in the pool was mucky and not very inviting. All went southways however when the fire alarm sounded a 7 AM in the morning. All the guests left their room and gathered outside but THERE WAS NO STAFF IN SIGHT. No one told us what was going on or what we were supposed to do. When we made a complaint about the poor communication around the fire alarm when we checked out the guy at the counter didn't even bother to look at me. It was a very disappointing ending to what otherwise had been a pretty decent experience. Do better! "
