'Takywara for us is wonderful. We find it very calming & peaceful. Rooms are spacious, clean and with a nice kitchenette. Beach is beautiful, very clean, quiet & less busy at this end. The grounds are very pretty, with a tropical vibe. We like that its small hotel, very quaint. The staff is always friendly and helpful. '

'The location is good 5 minutes walk from the city center and 10 minutes from the beach. The hotel is very quiet, looking good but not maintained has it should be. Staff are not present, rarely there is receptionist and you have to call them if you need anything. We didn’t have any towels when we arrived and my bed sheets were dirty. No safe in the room and dishes were in bad shape.'

'Casa Mar was absolutely beautiful. My wife and I celebrated our 20 year anniversary with a week away and we would definitely do it again. An added perk we didn’t even realize until arriving was that this house is associated with the Awa hotel brand and you get all the perks of the hotel that is within a 5 minute walk. We loved everything about the experience. Manuel and Maria took great care of us as well!'

'We loved our stay at Casa Milu! The home is beautiful, clean and well maintained. It was perfect for our group of friends to share the property as each bedroom had its own en-suite bathroom. It’s within easy walking distance to many restaurants and Punto Coco beach. The host and cleaning crew were absolutely wonderful. 'The suite was very nice and clean, however we found it to be poorly stocked. It had all the essentials, but only 2 thin pillows, and minimal kitchen items, we often had to borrow things from neighbors (wine bottle opener). The only other issue we had was running out of hot water very shortly after starting the shower. Proximity to the beach is wonderful, and the balconies were very nice.
