'This is an outstanding property, I'm glad to say it exceeded my expectations. Paquera CR isn't the tourist mecca, IE an all inclusive. If you want to enjoy CR with a local feel and experience this is a place for you. The owners were responsive to questions and w/recommendations sheet to go. We loved CURU and the wildlife refuge, great hiking trails, great beach..'

'We stayed 5 nights (2 adults and 3 kids - 12, 10, and 8). The property was beautiful and the house well taken care of. Lots of wildlife each day (the most we saw our entire trip was right out front). We were sad to leave and hope to return again in the future. '

'The home was amazing! It was in a perfect location. We loved sitting outside looking at the view of the mountain, jungle and ocean. Every room had an air conditioner. The pool was perfect. There were several different balconies to sit on and enjoy the atmosphere. Communication with the owner and management was great! My family loved it and lived our vacation. '

'Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. '

'Great place, plenty of room , decks and view abound, helpful staff and owner, everything needed for a relaxing holiday. Wildlife out your back door, pool a great touch to cool down but beach close and waves fun. Rent a golf cart and easy travel. Herradura close great food store. Though small one close by. Pickleball courts in Jaco, easy and friendly. National parks close, 10 good beaches on property and within 30-35 min. Will find our way back again. '

'Thank you for having us in your beach house. This property is exactly as described. Walk out the back door and onto the beach. Has a secure parking garage for one car. Lots of seafood markets and restaurants nearby.'

'Everything was dirty in the property, from the shower curtain full of black mold to coffee maker and fans. Streets are full of garbage outside, smell of sewages and garbage is everywhere. In the shower we found worms and spiders. They even did not have the cutesy of cleaning the dishes, we had to re-wash everything before use. It was horrible. We decided to leave for a hotel the last 5 days of our trip.'

'The listing does not do this place justice. It is amazing. From the time you walk through the front door and see the amazing view out the back door you are amazed. More than enough space and the house is spotless. Olga did an amazing job of communicating. We could not recommend this place more and hopefully can go back'

'Villa Mer is centrally located to many activities most within a 90 minute drive. Randal the owner is very responsive via What'sApp and the grounds keeper does his job without interfering with the guests enjoyment of the property. The pool man Alexander was beyond helpful even changing a tire for us when we discovered a flat. 'Never again. We had to leave 2 days early and try to find another place on high season for my party of 8 because of over booking. The service was just terrible. To bad, because the area was great. Dont rent from this place.'
