'WOW! What a stunning place! Which we highly recommend a stay here. From when you initially arrive at the property and travel down the drive you can see the wonderful gardens and beautiful views. We were checked in by Millie, who showed us to our room, which was amazing Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t open, but they did do meat and cheese boards, which we shared one of each, and certainly were not disappointed by the taste and variety. 'Wonderful stay at the Jockey Club rooms, beautiful building and grounds. The room was beautiful, the bathroom was huge with a free standing bath. The breakfast was very good, served in a grand dining room, all the staff we met were very helpful, polite and informative. Especially the night manager, he had a great knowledge of the history of the Jockey Club rooms and their amazing wealth of the Arti facts, paintings and extensive rooms, the bar area was really splendid. 'Honestly could not fault this place at all. Staff very welcoming and attentive. If things were not available in your room they would be more than happy to help and provide eg. Iron and Iron Board. The breakfast was amazing and the fresh pastel del nata was even better than what I’ve had in Portugal! 10/10 recommend '
