'This is an authentic Japanese Ryokan, where you sleep on mats on the floor. We used three mats each to be comfortable. The room was spacious. The bathroom is immaculate and we loved using the onsen or hot bath. The Japanese breakfast was absolutely delicious and included a great variety of foods. The staff was gracious and very helpful. 'The host was very welcoming and made everything very fun. He had mican and snacks and water for us. He didn't speak much English, but he had a detailed book about the place with pictures and explanations in English.
